Hi, I'm Alice, thanks for visiting my website. I am qualified Vet and Dental Technician based in Aberdeen. I have worked as an equine vet since graduating in 2007, and then last year decided to set up on my own providing veterinary dental services to equines in the north east of Scotland.
I have always had a keen interest in dentistry and passed my exams to become a member of the British Association of Equine Dental Technicians (BAEDT) back in 2019. I completed and passed the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) Certificate in Equine Veterinary Dentistry and this year became an RCVS recognised ‘Advanced Practitioner’ in the subject.

In order to remain members of these organisations, over 85 hours of continual professional development has to be carried out each year, as well as practical assessments and practice inspections, ensuring the highest standards are maintained. Full business, indemnity and public liability insurance is also essential.

I was born and brought up in Aberdeen and was lucky enough to have always been surrounded by horses since a young age. I learnt to ride at Hayfield and then continued with Aberdeen Riding Club where I was nurtured through my BHS examinations, enabling me to teach riding whilst at university to earn my keep!
I was a keen member of the Pony Club, riding clubs and also tried my hand at some BS and BE. At university I got stuck into the riding club there and got the chance to compete abroad for the British University Equestrian Team which was a great experience.
At home we have collection of horses, some home bred, that myself, my mum and my kids ride - I haven’t been competing for a long time but hope to get back into it one day!
Outside of work I am mainly spending time out and about with husband, kids, and an ever increasing menagerie of animals!
